Golf
POLE CREEK GOLF CLUB located 12 miles north of Winter Park, offers tree-lined, links-style holes with breathtaking views of the Continental Divide. Watch for the Pole Creek Golf Classic in June: 800-511-5076.
GRAND LAKE GOLF COURSE is adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park, and as such you may be sharing the tee with some of the native elk, deer, fox and red-tail hawk that roam this tight, tree-lined course: 970-627-8008.

Mountain Biking
ANNUAL FAT TIRE CLASSIC (No longer active, as of 2007)
The Fat Tire Classic is the largest fundraiser across the nation for the American Red Cross and it is held right here in Winter Park, one of the premier mountain biking and hiking regions in Colorado. Some of the great things riders and hikers will enjoy at the Annual Fat Tire Classic are an incredible variety of trails for every skill level, beautiful mountain vistas, wonderful food and FREE Fat Tire Amber Ale!

SUMMER CONCERTS have become something of a tradition in Winter Park and the Fraser Valley. It’s the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon in the summer, stretched out on a grassy slope, listening to world-class music.
GRAND COUNTY BLUES FESTIVAL kicks off another summer of four fabulous music festivals in the Fraser Valley on July 2. This one-day festival takes place at SolVista Golf & Ski Ranch, 15 minutes from Winter Park.
